Franklin County currently operates three (3) Recycling Centers and one (1) Solid Waste Center.

Carnesville Location​


Operations:
Trash and Recyclables

Hours of Operation:
Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. [Closed 12:00-1:00 p.m. for lunch] 
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Items Accepted Requiring Fees:

  • Trash Bag: Tags 5 for $5 ($1 each)

County Resident:

  • Truck/Single Axle: $45 per load
  • Double Axle: $55 per load

Non-Resident:

  • Truck/Single Axle: $125 per load
  • Double Axle: $150 per load

Tires Accepted for a Fee:$$

Regular Car Tire     =     $2.50/each
Small Truck/SUV    =     $7.00/each
Mounted Tire          =     $10.00/each
Large Tire/Tractor  =     $15.00/each

Accepted Recycling Items:
