Franklin County has many different opportunities for citizens to get involved in their community. Each of our Boards, Committees, & Authorities provide services and guidance to the leadership of the county.
If you are looking for ways to get involved and help serve please check out any openings on our page. We keep all applications on file for 12 months. You can drop off applications to our Board of Commissioners office at our physical location, mail them to our mailing address, or email them to our County Clerk, Kayla Finger.
Family & Children Services Board currently has two positions available. Applicants must be: “Pediatric healthcare providers, appropriate school personnel, emergency responders, law enforcement personnel, private child welfare providers, alumni of the child welfare system, mental health care providers, former foster parents, and leaders within the faith based community.” Meetings are typically the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 1:00PM. Applications will be accepted through 06/07/2021.
