As the County's Chief Administrative Officer, the County Manager is responsible for the overall management and general administration of the county government. The County Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the County, advises the board, and provides support to ensure that all ordinances, resolutions, directives, and policies of the Board of Commissioners are property coordinated and executed. The County Manager is also responsible for preparing and monitoring the annual budget.
The County Manager runs the County operations efficiently and effectively, ensures the County provides quality services to the residents and keeps the County resilient in the face of unexpected changes. The County Manager performs these responsibilities with the assistance of the various department heads and administrative personnel employed by the county.
