Airport Authority Board
Nestled in Canon, GA the Franklin-Hart Airport (18A) is located 13 miles west of Hartwell and 9 miles south of Lavonia. Franklin-Hart Airport users have access to State Highway 17, Rail and Interstate 85 access all within 10 miles. Canon is located 15 miles SW of Lake Hartwell 16 miles to Catachee Golf Club, 5 miles to Highland Walk Golf club, 8 miles to Emmanuel College and a pleasant drive to the Smokey Mountains. These benefits provide for a strong infrastructure for commercial and industrial growth.
The Franklin-Hart County Airport Authority was formed in 1995 and consists of appointed representatives from Hart County Board of Commissioners, Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Hart County Industrial Building Authority, Franklin County Building Authority and an “At Large Member: The purpose of the Authority is to construct, maintain and operate the airport.
We have Jet-A and 100LL fuels that are competitively priced, an inviting lounge area complete with wifi, facilities, drinks, and snacks.
