Facilities
The Franklin County Recreation Department has 50 acres of ball fields, parking lots, wooded areas, and an indoor facility. The Recreation Dept. is also currently working on creating walking trails that will surround the 50 acres of the park and are inquiring about adding a playground to the facility grounds.
The gym at Rocky Ford Park:
- Features three meeting rooms that our available for rental.
- Two full size basketball courts.
- The Recreation Offices are located upstairs in the building.
Ball Fields:
- Four baseball/softball fields with complete dirt infields. Two of the fields are at 200 feet, one at 300 feet, and one that is 360 feet to centerfield.
- We also have a 4 acre multi-purpose field that is used for soccer and football.
Parking Lots:
There are 4 different parking lots that vary in size.
Wooded Areas:
Rocky Ford Park features roughly 15 acres of wooded areas that are easily accessible for nature enthusiast. We are currently working on walking trails that will be open to the public.
