Administration

 

Franklin County operates under a commission-manager form of government. The County is governed by five elected part-time commissioners including the Chairman of the Board. The Board of Commissioners appoints a full-time County Manager. The County Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer appointed by the Board of Commissioners to direct the day-to-day functions of the government and carry out policies set by the commission.
